Girls Varsity Soccer Varsity vs Henderson County Senior High School (4 - 1) Loss The #9 ranked Lady Eagles varsity soccer team lost a tough match to Henderson County last night by a score of 4-1. ECS was able to tie the score at 1-1 just before halftime as Ellie Schroeder assisted Peyton Geer on her 16th goal of the season. The game would remain tied until 18 minutes were left on the clock when the Colonels took a 2-1 lead on a penalty kick after a questionable foul call in the box. Henderson County would go on to add 2 more goals in the final minutes of the game to defeat the Eagles 4-1. ECS returns to action on Monday when they host only their second home match of the season against the #15 ranked team in class 2A, the Washington Hatchets.
