6th Grade (A Team) vs Prairie Heights Middle School (30 - 17) Win 6th Grade (B Team) vs Prairie Heights Middle School Win The DeKalb boys 6th grade basketball team beat a tough Prairie Heights squad last night by the score of 30-17. Defense is always the calling card of this team and they did not disappoint again. Landry Schache led the Barons with 8 points. Drew Jennings, Lucas Sarll, Maddox Schache, Keller Haiflich and Zach Anderson all contributed 4 points and Henry Carper had 2. DeKalb finishes out their regular season tonight when they face New Haven at home. Start time is 5:30pm. The DeKalb B team also won big last night. The Barons got a big scoring contribution from Colton Brandon. Other team members that got in the scoring column were Micah LaRue, Noah Chapman, Cohan Turley, Gary Miller, Mason Hutchens and Dante Newsome.
