6th Grade (B Team) vs Eastside Jr-Sr High School (33 - 4) Win 6th Grade (A Team) vs Eastside Jr-Sr High School (43 - 2) Win The DeKalb 6th grade boys basketball team defeated Eastside last night 43-2. It was their best offensive game of the year as seven players found their way into the scoring column. Landry Schache led the way for the Barons with 13 points and Zach Anderson followed with 10. Other Baron scores included Henry Carper with 6, Quinn Schmidt with 5, Lucas Sarll with 4, Cohan Turley with 3 and Drew Jennings with 2. The Barons are back in action on Monday when they travel to Prairie Heights. The DeKalb B team also won big last night 33-4. They showed great teamwork in their victory. The Barons were led in scoring by Cohan Turley and Colton Brandon with 8 points. Noah Chapman had 6 points, Dante Newsome with 5 and Kain Williford, Micah LaRue and Gary Miller rounded out the scoring with 2 points.
