8th Grade vs Norwell Middle School (45 - 40) Win The DeKalb Lady Barons 8th grade had a huge road win over Norwell. The Barons overcame a 12 point deficit in the 4th quarter to win 45-40. Leading the way was Kyla Kjendalen with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 steals. Ellington Sparkman added 17 points and 4 steals. Shaye Turley played huge minutes adding 3 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. Mollee Sonnenberg added 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Mac Rice grabbed a game high 8 rebounds and added a free throw. Tiegan Jordan grabbed 6 rebounds. This was an entire team effort!!!
