8th Grade vs New Haven Middle School (2 - 1) Win The 8th grade volleyball team defeated New Haven Monday evening in 3 sets. 20-25, 25-16, 15-8. After a slow start the Barons came alive and handed the Bulldogs a loss. Avalynn Schache led the charge with 10am r ice points, 7 aces, 3 kills, 1 block and 4 assists. Allie Freudenberger had a great night with 9 service points, 3 aces, and 4 kills. Evie Weber contributed 6 service points with 4 aces to the Baron victory. Claire McBride had 3 service points 1 ace and 3 digs. Brooke Culler came up big once again in the back row with 5 digs. The Lady Barons next game will be on Wednesday when they travel to Crestview.
