8th Grade vs Indian Springs Middle School Loss The 8th grade Lady Baron volleyball team fell to Indian Springs Wednesday evening losing 2 very close sets 24-25 and 23-25. The team fought hard and was very scrappy but in the end couldn't pull it out. Evie Weber had a great night leading the team with 7 service points, 1 ace, 5 kills, and 2 digs. Allie Freudenberger had 6 service points with 1 ace, 2 kills, and 1 assist. Ellington Sparkman and Kyla Kjendalen each had 3 service points with 1 ace, 2 kills and 1 block. Ellington also had 6 assists. Avalynn Schache had 2 service points, with 2 kills and 7 assists. Addy Brand and Mollee Sonnenberg each had 2 points and 4 digs. Sylvia Neal had 1 service point and 1 kill. Brooke Culler and Violet Scott played solid defense with Brooke picking up 4 digs and Violet picking up 3 digs. The 8th grade Barons are back in action on Saturday when they travel to West Noble to compete in their invitational.
