8th Grade vs Summit Middle School Win The 8th grade Lady Baron volleyball team improved their record to 3-1 after defeating a tough Summit team in 2 sets 25-20 and 25-18. The Barons fought from behind most of the second set but battled hard as a team to come out on top. Leading the way with strong serves was Evie Weber with 8 and 5 aces. Ellington Sparkman followed closely behind with 7 service points and 3 assists. Avalynn Schache tallied 5 service points with 1 ace and 1 assist. Kyla Kjendalen and Mollee Sonnenberg rounded out the serving with 2 points each. Scrappy defense and strong serving by the whole team lead to the Baron victory.
