8th Grade vs Fremont Middle School Win The 8th grade volleyball team defeated Fremont in 2 sets (25-6 and 25-13) in their first home match of the season. This was another great team effort with Kyla Kjendalen leading the way with 8 service points, 5 aces, and 1 kill. Addy Brand had 4 service points with 1 ace. Sylvia Neal had 4 points, 2 aces, 1 kill, 1 block, and 1 assist. Avalynn Schache also had 4 service points with 1 ace, 1 kill, 1 dig, and 1 assist. Violet Scott, Tiegan Jordan, and Mac Rice each had 4 service points. Brooke Culler, Allie Freudenberger, and Evie Weber each had 2 service points to round out the scoring of the 2 sets. The teams did play a friendly third set where Evie Weber led the Barons to a win with 14 service points and 10 aces to beat Fremont 15-1. Wish the Barons good luck as they travel to Carroll Wednesday evening to take on the Chargers. Go Barons!
