8th Grade vs Garrett Middle School Win The 8th grade volleyball team dominated Garrett Tuesday evening winning in 2 sets 25-4 and 25-8. Sylvia Neal led the Barons with 14 service points, 10 aces, and 4 assists. Allie Freudenberger tallied 8 service points, 1 ace, 3 kills, 1 block and 2 assists. Addy Brand had a strong showing with 4 point, 2 aces, and 1 kill. Kyla Kjendalen also showed up strong at the service line with 4 points, 1 ace, and 2 kills. Avalynn Schache contributed 3 points with 3 assists. Evie Weber scored 2 points and played a solid back row with a couple of digs. Mollee Sonnenberg controlled play at the net with 4 kills and 1 assist. Claire McBride kept the Barons scoring by keeping the ball alive with 3 back row digs. The Barons picked up their first win of the season with a solid team effort. Their next game will be Thursday where the ladies will travel to Eastside to take on the Blazers. Go Barons!
