Morning Games of Championship Saturday: Crothersville defeats Madison (39-30). Carter Jones is player of the game with 14 points and 5 rebounds in the win. Brownstown defeats Lanesville (40-33). Caiden Booker is player of the game with 19 points (12 in the 4th quarter) in the win. Highland Hills defeats Madison (58-30). Noah Baker is player of the game with 10 points in the win. Scottsburg defeats Silver Creek (44-43). Tracen Roush is player of the game with 22 points in the win. The Final Four was set- Jackson County schools, Crothersville (1a) vs. Brownstown (2a). & Scottsburg (3a) vs. Highland Hills (4a). Brownstown gives Crothersville their first loss of the year (3-1) in another OT game (happened last year in the regular season at Crothersville) with a final score of 32-27. Eli Hutchinson is the player of the game. He had 11 points and hit the pressure FT to send the game to OT. Scottsburg defeats Highland Hills in a competitive game (47-45). Tracen Roush is player of the game with 25 points in the win. In the Championship Game, we had MSC Foes Brownstown taking on Scottsburg. It was all Scottsburg in the championship game as they defeat Brownstown (34-25) and win the 2023 Hoosier Hills Hoops Pre-Season Tournament. Tracen Roush was once again the player of the game and tournament MVP. He averaged over 20ppg on the day/in the tournament. Congratulations to the Scottsburg 8th Grade Warriors!
