Cross Country - IHSAA Regionals | Saturday, October 26 The cross country season came to an end for most of the team last Saturday, but sophomore Tristan Witter qualified for Regionals after placing as an individual with a PR time of 17:33.20. He finished 44th overall, and secured the 13th out of 15 spots to advance as an individual from a non-advancing team. Witter will now compete at Regional #3 at Brownsburg High School this Saturday. The Warriors were bumped up to 2A due to enrollment, and will play the winner of conference opponents Monrovia and Scecina Memorial. Because Covenant received a bye, they will be the away team regardless of who wins this Friday. On the other side of the bracket, Park Tudor hosts Cardinal Ritter and Lutheran hosts Heritage Christian. Location and ticketing information will be available next week. Boys Soccer - IHSAA Semi-States | Saturday, October 26 The boys soccer team won a thriller over the 2nd seeded Faith Christian Eagles last weekend. Junior Nathan Afolayan scored the lone goal near the 23-minute mark of the second half. This is the fourth time the program has advanced to the Semi-States. They have gone 3-for-3 in those appearances, advancing to the State Finals in 2012, 2017, and 2018. They will now face the defending State Champions, Bethany Christian, this Saturday at Kokomo High School. Kick-off is at 1pm. The winner will play either Greenwood Christian or Northeast Dubois for the State Championship next Friday or Saturday.
