CHS was on the road to the IU East Campus for the Hare and Hound Invite hosted by Richmond High School on August 23,2025. This was a tough course that ended in a long climb to the finish. Arthur Struewing led the Spartan Boys with a time of 19:49 with Axle Pflum right on his heels finishing with a time of 19:50. Hunter Bales was the next Spartan to cross the finish line coming in at 19:55. Followed by Layne Shook 21:16, Ari Shook with a PR of 24:11, Jared Burns clocking a PR of 27:28. Spartan Girls was led this meet by Hylee Slater with a time 24:54, followed by Adrianna Marcum with a time of 26:15, Arianna Leslie 29:56, and Mackenzie Marcum at 39:31. Hylee and Adrianna finished in the top 20 with all 4 girls running their fastest times yet this season! Next meet is next Saturday at Rushville.
