The Connersville Lady Spartans dropped their home opener to conference opponent Lawrenceburg on Tuesday evening. Connersville started each set with energy but had difficulty keeping momentum on their side of the net. Kendyl Bottomley and Stella Holmes were standouts at the net, while Serenity Pennington anchored the defense in the back row.
