Connersville

On Friday, May 1st, the Connersville High School girls Track and Field team traveled to Northeastern High School to participate in the Knight Invitational. The Lady Spartans placed 9th out of 14 teams with 31 points. Top finishers for the Lady Spartans were Hylee Slater, 7th in the 800, Chloe Keal, 3rd in the 3200, Kiayah McKinney, 7th in the 100 hurdles and 3rd in 300 hurdles, Brianna Adkins, 2nd in shot put, Emily Bischoff, 8th in shot put, and the 4x800m relay team of Jazmine Bond, Gabbie Higbie, Slater, and Keal placed 5th. The team is next in action on Tuesday, May 5th at Hagerstown.
