The Lady Spartans competed in an eight-team invitational at New Castle. Participating schools included Greensburg, Shenandoah, Connersville, Silver Creek, East Central, Chesterton, Elwood, and host New Castle. The day featured high-quality tennis and strong competition throughout. Heat and fatigue played a significant role as the tournament progressed, but the girls showed heart, determination, and grit from start to finish. I am extremely proud of how they competed and responded in each match. Due to tournament format, third sets were replaced with a 10-point tiebreaker. 1st Round The Lady Spartans battled Silver Creek but fell 2-3 to a fundamentally sound, high-powered team. 1 Singles: Sophia Starr def.
