On Thursday, the Lady Spartans traveled north on State Road 1 to Cambridge City to take on the Lady Golden Eagles of Lincoln. Playing an aggressive match and executing quality shots, the Spartans overpowered Lincoln for a 5–0 victory. At No. 1 singles, Sophia Starr defeated Princess Maddagan 6–1, 6–1. Bella Starr earned a 6–1, 6–0 win over Hannah Bogue at No. 2 singles. In the No. 3 spot, Amielya Mays showed endurance and determination in a hard-fought match, defeating Paige Pitcock 7–6 (7–5), 7–6 (7–5). In doubles action, the duo of Cam Butts and Trinitee Steele won 6–3, 6–0 over Luna Garcia and Alyssa Waddell. At No. 2 doubles, Maddie Harrison and Ella Miller secured a 6–0, 6–0 victory against Mia Cansler and Maddi Goulding. In junior varsity play, Abby Keal won her singles match 6–2, while Cat Graves won 6–3 and Frances Kelly added a 6–2 victory. In doubles, Sophie Neal and Tessa Kelley won 6–0, and Madison Smith and Ella Poe earned a 6–4 win. Addy Storms and Eileen Wang fell 2–6, while Rylie Keal and Kami Scott lost 2–3. The win pushed the Spartans record to 5-2.
