Girls Track/Field Bill Self Invitational Results

On Friday, April 17th, the Connersville High School girls track and field team competed at the Bill Self Invitational at Franklin Community High School. The Spartans scored 31 points, putting them in 7th place. Emily Bischoff won the Bill Self Service Award for outstanding commitment to his community through service and was recognized during the meet. Top finishers for the Lady Spartans were Allenah Miller, 10th in the 200 and 8th in pole vault, Hylee Slater, 10th in the 4800, Chloe Keal, 5th in the 1600 and 4th in the 3200, Kiayah McKinney, 8th in the 100 hurdles, Emily Bischoff, 4th in shot put, Brianna Adkins, 5th in shot put, Phoebe Jordan, 6th in discus, Stella Holmes, 7th in discus, Zoey Chomel, 9th in high jump, Hannah Ropp, 5th in pole vault, Alexis Freese, 10th in long jump, the 4x100 relay team of McKinney, Evie Haldeman, Freese, and Miller placed 7th, the 4x400 relay team of Jazmine Bond, Haldeman, Slater, and Chomel placed 7th, and the 4x800 relay team of Bond, Gabbie Higbie, Slater, and Keal placed 6th. The team is back in action on Tuesday, April 21st at home against Greensburg and New Castle.
