Concord Athletic Department

The Concord Middle School Cross Country Team traveled to Sturgis on Saturday morning for the Sturgis Kiwanis Invitational. It was a chilly, but perfect day to run. Once again, we found ourselves short a few runners for various reasons, but our attending athletes each had a fantastic race. Our boys competed against 162 other runners from all divisions. Leading the boys with his fastest time ever was Brennan Labram. Sam Arbuckle followed with an all-time personal best as well! Nice work, boys! There were 152 runners in the girls’ race. Helen Sterley was 92nd with one of her season-best times, and Laney Pyle finished 4th, just shy of her time from earlier this week. Congratulations, girls! Our last meet will be on October 27th for Regionals in Milan.
