The High School Girls had a fantastic night as they won the East Jackson Jamboree. They won three of the four Jamborees this season, and they earned the 2026 Big 8 Conference Championship! Way to go, ladies! Leading the way was Audrey Pyle, as she earned the East Jackson Jamboree Individual Championship, while being closely followed by Haley Stimer, who finished second, and Audrey Rinehart, who placed third. Having an outstanding race was Braelynn Thorrez, who had her highest-ever finish in a Jamboree with a ninth-place finish while running her fastest time ever. Way to go, Braelynn. Also having a great race was Mya Barrett, who finished in 14th place. Now, for the overall Big 8 Conference 2026 standings, our Yellowjacket ladies earned the 19th Big 8 Girls Cross Country Conference Championship in school history. Earning All-Conference Honors were Audrey Rinehart, Haley Stimer, and Audrey Pyle. Even more impressive was that they ended the 2026 season with the top 3 places in the Overall Conference Standings, which is based on their three best finishes of the four Big 8 Jamborees. Congratulations to Audrey Rinehart, who ended the season in third place, while Haley Stimer earned Conference Runner-Up honors, and Audrey Pyle earned Conference Most Valuable Runner Honors.
