The Yellow Jackets came out victorious with a 22–0 win over the Pittsford Wildcats! 🐝🏈 Leading the Jackets on offense was Javonnie Toles, who found the end zone three times to power the Yellow Jackets to victory. Isaac Gomez also added an extra point. The offense got plenty of help up front, with Jenner Beaster, Braxton Miller, and Phoenix Ortiz controlling the line of scrimmage. On the outside, Drake Hotchkins and Ja’cayden Atchison provided key blocks that helped open up the running game and create opportunities for the Jackets’ offense. The Jackets held the Wildcats scoreless, rallying to the ball all night long and consistently having nearly the entire defense around the play! Coming back after two weeks, Isaac set the edge all night long and made his presence felt. Josiah also played extremely well at the edge, piling up a ton of tackles. There defensive line plays so well that the wildcats were rushed in the backfield the entire night! There was little to no room to run the ball in between the hashes! The defensive standout was Lennox, who was outstanding at outside linebacker and seemed to be around the ball all night. In the middle, Leo did an excellent job shutting down the run and keeping the Wildcats from finding anything up the middle. In the secondary, Az, Drake, Javonte, Jacayden, and Denum locked things down and kept the Wildcats from gaining a single yard through the air! This team continues to improve and impress their teammates, parents, coaches, and the entire community. The coaching staff is extremely proud of these young men. They worked extremely hard in practice this week, and it showed on game night. The effort, discipline, and teamwork were on full display! WAY TO GO, JACKETS! 🐝💪🏈
