The Lady Jackets went 2-1-2 at the Spring Arbor Tournament today. In pool play, they beat Springport 25-10, 25-22, and Northwest 25-22, 25-16, and split with Hanover Horton 14-25, 25-18, and Lumen Christi 21-25, 25-21. Their record earned them second place in their pool. They lost to Western in the semifinals, 14-25, 16-25. Unofficial stats: Annie Saenz had 47 kills, 5 blocks, and 32 serves with 3 aces. Bradie Lehman had 35 kills, 42 assists, and 42 serves with 7 aces. Ayla Blossom had 5 kills and 2 blocks. Layla Claus had 24 assists, 2 blocks, and 38 serves with 3 aces. Addi Riske had 3 kills, 6 assists, and 24 serves with 2 aces. Delaney Colburn had 31 serves with 1 ace. Jessica Clouser had 5 kills and 3 blocks. Avery Arbuckle had 13 assists and 3 kills. Phoebe Byler had 22 serves and 3 aces. Our defense played strong all day, with Annie, Bradie, and Addi leading the way. The Lady Jackets are now 9-4-3.
