🏈 CONCORD YELLOW JACKETS FOOTBALL 🏈 The Yellow Jackets took the field against Britton Deerfield last night. While the boys fell short on the scoreboard, they showed tremendous effort from the opening whistle all the way until the timer ran out. They battled, competed, and never stopped fighting. Javonnie, Jaycaden, Leo, and Josiah all played a hard-fought game and gave everything they had on the field. Jaycaden found the end zone twice, helping give the Yellow Jackets some big moments throughout the game. 💪🏈 Braxton Miller was once again a standout player, doing an excellent job communicating on the offensive line and helping keep the players together up front. His leadership and communication in the trenches were a huge part of keeping the offense organized. Defensively, the Yellow Jackets had several players who stepped up and made their presence known, including Javonnie, Jaycaden, Josiah, and Connor. The boys took some hard hits and are leaving the game with plenty of bumps and bruises, but they continued to battle and compete until the very end. That kind of fight and determination is something we are extremely proud of. Now it’s time to get back to work. The Yellow Jackets will regroup, learn from this game, and begin preparing for Morenci. The scoreboard may not have gone our way, but these boys showed heart, toughness, and determination from start to finish.
