Concord Athletic Department

The Concord Middle School Cross Country Team competed in their first meet of the season at the Addison Invitational. It was a successful night all around as we had two race champions for the evening and lots of great races from all of our athletes. Ja’Cayden Atchison won for the boys with a sprint to the finish line. Brennan Labram was 25th, and Sam Arbuckle completed his first two-mile race, finishing in 26th place. And congratulations to Grant Rundle for completing his first timed mile. Nice job, boys! For the girls, Laney Pyle led the way right from the start, winning the girls’ race. Helen Sterley ran her very first two-mile race ever, placing 18th overall. Congratulations to all of our runners!
