Congratulations to the Concord Girls Swim Team who claimed the 2017 Sectional Championship on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Northridge High School. CHS won with a team score of 481, edging past second place Northridge’s 476 points. This is Concord’s fourth sectional title in Girls Swimming, and first since 2012. Individual sectional champions for Concord were Maddisen Lantz (50 Freestyle), MaKayla Miller (100 Freestyle), and Olivia Trout (100 Breaststroke). Trout set a sectional meet, school, and pool record in the Breaststroke with her time of 1:04.84. CHS Coach Tom Johnson was named Sectional Coach of the Year.
