Congratulations to Stephen Krecsmar for being named the 2016 Male Athlete of the Year by the Elkhart Kiwanis Club! Each year the Elkhart Kiwanis Club recognizes male and female athletes of the season from Concord, Elkhart Central, Elkhart Memorial, and Jimtown. At the end of the year, each school selects a male and female Kiwanis Athlete of the Year for their school. Members of the Kiwanis Club then select an overall winner from amongst the four schools for each gender. This year’s winners were Stephen Krecsmar (Concord) and Gabi Yoder (Elkhart Central). In the top picture, Stephen is pictured with Anna Nisen (Concord’s Kiwanis Female Athlete of the Year). In the bottom picture, Stephen is with the overall Kiwanis Female Athlete of the Year, Gabi Yoder from Elkhart Central High School.
