Last night's home game against Lanesville went extremely well. Did we walk out with a win? No, but both JV and Varsity played the best that they have all season. On JV Makenzee Wood had several serves in a row. Airyanna Lewis got her first block and Ace of the season! Emma Helton had 2 blocks and 1 kill. Varsity players did a great job on tip coverage. Kaitlin Bishop, Jullia Perissi and Bailey Senior all had 5 Aces for the night. Jayonna Shirley had 3 blocks and 4 kills. Kaitlin Bishop had 8 kills and 2 blocks. Bailey Senior had one block and several assists. Courtney Austin had several amazing digs. This season's goal isn't about how many wins we get but how much we can progress and improve. Just in the short time between games this week we can see an improvement in our mental game and focus. I am very excited about where this season is going to go!
