It is a massive Thursday for Chelsea Athletics, headlined by postseason action as both the Varsity Girls Golf and Varsity Boys Tennis teams hit the road to compete in the MHSAA Regionals. The postseason journey begins early on the links, with Varsity Girls Golf tees off at Pineview GC for a 9:00 AM championship showdown. The team bus departs at 8:00 AM as the Bulldogs look to make their mark on the regional stage. Meanwhile, Varsity Boys Tennis travels to Haslett for their 9:00 AM MHSAA Regional competition, leaving the high school bright and early at 7:00 AM. Both squads bring determination and momentum as they compete for state qualification. The afternoon and evening schedules are packed with intense matchups across campus and on the road. Freshman Football hits the road to clash with Portage Central at 5:00 PM, with players dismissed at 2:15 PM for a 2:30 PM departure. Varsity Field Hockey also heads out for an evening battle, traveling to face Huron at 5:00 PM. Home fans have plenty to cheer about right here in Chelsea. Action at home kicks off at 4:00 PM when JV Boys Soccer takes on rival Dexter, setting the stage for the Varsity Boys Soccer match against Dexter at 5:30 PM. To cap off the evening, Varsity Girls Swimming hosts Pinckney in the pool starting at 6:00 PM. Once again good luck to Coach Ewald and Coach Rosentreter and their teams at regionals today! Go Bulldogs!
