Chelsea High School and Middle School student-athletes face a busy lineup on Wednesday, September 30, with teams competing across tennis, soccer, field hockey, volleyball, and cross country. Action kicks off early in the afternoon at 4:00 PM. On the road, Varsity Boys Tennis travels to take on Skyline, with the bus leaving at 2:40 PM following a 2:30 PM student dismissal. JV Boys Soccer also hits the road for a 4:00 PM clash against Ypsilanti, departing at 2:30 PM (2:20 PM dismissal). Meanwhile, Middle School Cross Country heads to Lincoln for the SEC Jamboree, with races set to begin at 4:00 PM. At home, the 7 Blue Volleyball team takes the floor at the Chelsea Aux Gym for back-to-back action, hosting Lincoln in a doubleheader starting at 4:15 PM and concluding with a second match at 5:30 PM. Over at Mill Creek, Chelsea’s middle school volleyball squads will visit Dexter, with 7 Gold playing at 4:15 PM (dismissal at 2:50 PM) followed by 8 Gold at 5:30 PM. The late-afternoon and evening schedules feature heavy varsity and junior varsity action. JV Field Hockey visits Pioneer for a 4:30 PM contest, leaving campus at 3:00 PM (2:40 PM dismissal), leading right into the Varsity Field Hockey match against Pioneer under the lights at 6:00 PM. Rounding out the evening, Varsity Boys Soccer heads to Ypsilanti for a 5:30 PM match, with the team departing alongside JV at 2:30 PM.
