It is a massive Wednesday for Chelsea Athletics as the Bulldogs spread out across Southeast Michigan for a full day of rivalry matchups and conference clashes. From the links to the diamond, here is what’s on deck for today’s action: Home Games: Defending the Home Turf Bulldog fans have plenty of reasons to stick around campus today, with four high-stakes matchups taking place at home. JV Girls Soccer vs. Jackson (4:00 PM): The afternoon kicks off on the pitch as the JV squad looks to set the tone against the Vikings. V/JV Softball vs. Dexter (4:00 PM): It’s a rivalry double-feature! Varsity Softball hosts the Dreadnaughts in what promises to be a battle of SEC powerhouses, while the JV squad travels to Dexter to settle the score on their turf. JV Baseball vs. Adrian (4:00 PM): While Varsity travels, the JV boys will hold down the home diamond against a tough Maples lineup. Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Jackson (5:30 PM): The nightcap features the Varsity Girls under the lights as they look to shut down Jackson in a key conference meeting. On the Road: Bulldog Road Warriors It’s a busy day for the Chelsea buses as five teams head out of town to face top-tier competition. Varsity Boys Golf at Divine Child (3:00 PM): The golfers get the earliest start of the day, heading to Dearborn to take on a perennial powerhouse at Divine Child. Varsity Girls Tennis at Lincoln (4:00 PM): Coming off strong recent performances, the tennis team travels to Lincoln looking to sweep the courts. Varsity Baseball at Adrian (4:00 PM): The Bulldogs head to Adrian for a showdown with the Maples. Expect a tactical game between two teams that know each other well. Varsity Boys Lacrosse at Huron (6:00 PM): The Bulldogs head into Ann Arbor to face the River Rats in a primetime matchup. Chelsea’s defense will be tested against a fast-paced Huron offense.
