Kaitlyn Tilley A Difficult Out As Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars Defeat Fairfield Varsity Falcons By GameChanger Media Kaitlyn Tilley collected three hits in four at bats, as Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars defeated Fairfield Varsity Falcons 10-7 on Monday at TBD. Tilley doubled in the second inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the fifth inning. Fairfield Varsity Falcons got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Madison Jones doubled, and Preslee Caouette hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run. Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring five runs on six hits to take the lead, 5-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Avery Deter that drove in two. Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars added one run in the third after Fairfield Varsity Falcons committed an error. Caouette homered to center field, which helped Fairfield Varsity Falcons tie the game at six in the bottom of the third. A single by Jones gave Fairfield Varsity Falcons the lead, 7-6, in the bottom of the fourth. Katie Forker doubled to right field, which helped Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars tie the game at seven in the top of the fifth. Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars jumped back into the lead in the top of the sixth inning after Kennedy Vice singled to left field, Kensy Kimmell doubled to left field, and Nevaeh Schoup grounded out, each scoring one run. Grace Swank earned the win for Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars. The righty gave up zero hits and zero runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking two. Kimmell stepped in the circle first for Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars. The starter gave up seven hits and seven runs (four earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out three and walking one. Paige Park stepped in the circle first for Fairfield Varsity Falcons. The hurler gave up 12 hits and seven runs (five earned) over four and two-thirds innings, striking out none and walking none. Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars tallied 15 hits in the game. Tilley and Deter each collected three hits for Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars. Forker and Deter each drove in two runs for Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars. Swank and Kierra Bolen each collected multiple hits for Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars. Caouette provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Fairfield Varsity Falcons with four runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Jones went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Fairfield Varsity Falcons in hits. Fairfield Varsity Falcons turned one double play in the game.
