Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars Come Up Short Against Fremont By GameChanger Media Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars lost to Fremont 6-5 on Tuesday. Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars got on the board in the third inning after E Creager induced Grace Swank to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored. Fremont captured the lead, 4-1, in the bottom of the third when an error scored one run, M Hufnagle tripled, scoring two runs, and A Stevens singled, scoring one run. Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars tied the game in the top of the seventh thanks to a single by Swank, and a double by Kennedy Vice. Creager earned the win for Fremont. The starter gave up seven hits and five runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out four and walking one. Swank took the loss for Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars. The hurler went one-third of an inning, surrendering one run (zero earned) on zero hits, striking out one and walking one. Kensy Kimmell started in the circle for Central Noble Varsity Lady Cougars. The right-handed pitcher surrendered seven hits and five runs (three earned) over six innings, striking out four and walking none.
