Kreger Advances to Individual Tennis Singles at Carroll

Central Noble tennis standout Kayla Kreger will compete for an individual singles championship on Thursday, May 28, at Carroll High School after advancing to the finals of the tournament. Kreger enters the championship match with an impressive 12-4 overall record and a 1-0 tournament mark. She will face Bishop Dwenger’s Sophia Gamez, who carries a 16-4 record into the finals along with a 4-0 postseason record. The championship schedule begins with rules review and team introductions at 4:00 p.m., followed by a 10-minute warm-up at 4:05 p.m. First serve is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. Kreger has been a consistent leader for the Lady Cougars throughout the season, helping Central Noble compete at a high level while continuing to shine individually on the court. Her appearance in the finals marks another major accomplishment in an outstanding season for the senior standout. Central Noble will look forward to cheering on Kreger as she competes for the singles title on one of the biggest stages of the postseason.
