Cougars Make History: Central Noble Breaks School Record in Distance Medley Relay

The Central Noble boys track team made history on March 20 at the Trine Indoor Track Meet in Angola, breaking the school record in the Men’s Distance Medley Relay. The Cougar quartet of Kyle Knafel, Michael Slone, Max Lower, and Ruger Lough combined for a time of 11:51.67, earning a fourth-place finish in a competitive field and etching their names into the Central Noble record books. The performance came against strong competition from South Bend St. Joseph, LaPorte, and Angola. The record-breaking run highlighted the dedication and growth of Central Noble’s distance program throughout the indoor season. The relay team showed consistency and determination from start to finish, delivering one of the top performances in school history. Breaking a school record is a major accomplishment for any program, and the Cougars celebrated the milestone as a testament to the hard work these athletes have put in during training and competition.
