Grace Swank With The No-No In Cougar Softball Win Against Churubusco

Grace Swank was brilliant in the circle on Tuesday, as Swank threw a no-hitter to lead Central Noble Varsity Cougars past Churubusco 3-0. Both teams were strong in the circle. Central Noble Varsity Cougars pitchers struck out 10, while Churubusco sat down 10. Central Noble Varsity Cougars got on the board in the first inning after an error scored one run. Swank hit a solo home run to center field in the top of the fifth for the Central Noble Varsity Cougars. Al Marks started in the circle for Churubusco. The starting pitcher surrendered nine hits and three runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out 10 and walking three. Chloe Adams, Swank, Kaitlyn Tilley, and Ahydan Wabika each collected two hits for Central Noble Varsity Cougars. Adams and Swank each drove in one run for Central Noble Varsity Cougars. Central Noble Varsity Cougars were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Molly Mann made the most plays with 11.
