Central Noble Jr-Sr High School

On a snowy, December Saturday night in Albion, the Lady Cougars battled back from down 9 points to Westview to tie the game late in the 4th quarter. Tied at 45 all, the Warriors got off a 3 point shot attempt that found the net and left Central Noble in a no win situation with 0.3 seconds on the clock. However, Lady Cougars showed grit and perseverance in the comeback that fell short. The 25-26 Lady Cougars are honored to be apart of honoring another group of Lady Cougars, the ones that won the 1975 NECC Championship in girl's basketball. That team received recognition for their accomplish from 50 years ago! It was a pleasure to visit with some of the ladies on that team after the game. The Lady Cougars are back in action next Friday at West Noble. There is not a JV game and the Varsity will tip following the JV Boy's game that begins at 5 PM in Ligonier.
