Varsity and JV have started with a strong dynamic and team energy in week one. They've played a lot of fast-paced, high energy volleyball that has been very engaging and exciting to watch! Their chemistry, transitions, and ability to adapt promise a fun season lies ahead. JV Volleyball played a Tri against Breckenridge and Saranac on Thursday, as the girls got into a rhythm in their first competition of the season. The girls played well, showing noticeable improvement as the day progressed. Varsity Volleyball played a Quad the same day against Breckenridge, Saranac, and Byron Center Zion Christian, and showed a lot of fight in each match, giving us something to look forward to as we head into what should be a great season! On Saturday, JV and Varsity played at Morey Courts in Mt. Pleasant for their first big tournament, and had a solid showing. Varsity played games against Grayling, Crystal Falls Forest Park, Saginaw Valley Lutheran, and Hale - a great experience for our girls to play many schools we do not typically see during the season. JV played games against Fowler, Beal City, Grayling, and Mio at the Morey Courts tournament and continued to demonstrate great growth throughout the day.
