The 8th-grade Lady Chargers secured a tough and well-earned 16–12 win over New Haven on Thursday night, showcasing strong team play, disciplined defense, and steady scoring throughout all four quarters. From the opening tip, the Chargers set the tone with their effort and energy, battling for loose balls, contesting shots, and communicating well on both ends of the floor. Offensively, the Chargers were led by Khamiyah Wagner, who paced the team with 6 points and provided consistent pressure around the basket. Klani Kelso added 4 points of her own, contributing key plays that kept the momentum in Carroll’s favor. Danielle Nadeau, Paige Andrews, and Jordyn Schrader each chipped in 2 points, rounding out a balanced scoring effort that proved critical in a low-scoring defensive contest.
