Carroll Middle School 7th Grade Girls Basketball: First Win of the Season The Lady Chargers earned their first victory of the season in a hard-fought matchup against New Haven on Thursday night, winning 16-3. Carroll’s balanced effort on both ends of the floor set the tone early and carried through to the final buzzer. Carroll was led offensively by Jocelyn Grabner, who paced the Chargers with 9 points. Makynley Hans, Brooklyn Ousley, and Ruby Fuelling each added 2 points, while Journey Walls chipped in 1 point to round out the scoring. Beyond the stat sheet, the Chargers’ win was fueled by a strong defensive performance. Sophia Brewer, Maddelynn Trebilcock, Godiva Okeigwe, Grace Stuerzenberger, and Kaia Shoesmith applied steady pressure, communicated well, and helped disrupt New Haven’s rhythm throughout the game. It was a complete team effort and a great step forward for the 7th grade Lady Chargers. Congratulations to the team and coaches on their first win of the season!
