In a high-scoring SAC clash, the Carroll Chargers powered past Northrop 48–37 on October 10, improving to 5–3 overall and 5–1 in conference play. The Chargers racked up over 500 yards of total offense and held off a furious third-quarter rally from the Bruins. Quarterback Gabe Frisinger led the way with 313 passing yards and three touchdowns, connecting twice with Jaidon Van Pelt and once with Mason Baughman. Van Pelt also added a 46-yard rushing touchdown on a reverse play, finishing with 136 total yards and three scores. Carroll’s defense made a pivotal play in the second quarter when Eli Neuhouser intercepted a pass and returned it 13 yards for a touchdown, helping the Chargers build a 27–7 halftime lead. Northrop stormed back with 24 points in the third quarter, cutting the deficit to 33–31, but Carroll responded with a 69-yard touchdown pass to Van Pelt and a 27-yard scoring run by Jackson Rhoades to seal the win. Despite 306 passing yards from Northrop’s David Callison and four rushing touchdowns from the Bruins, Carroll’s balanced attack and timely defensive plays proved decisive.
