The Carroll Chargers girls volleyball team continues to build on a legacy of excellence, securing their 17th consecutive sectional championship with back-to-back sweeps over Northrop and Snider. The Chargers, ranked #7 nationally, showed poise, power, and depth as they cruised through the tournament without dropping a set. 🏐 Sectional Semi-Final: Carroll Defeats Northrop 3–0 In the semi-final match, Carroll overpowered Northrop with a balanced attack and sharp execution. The Chargers won in straight sets, setting the tone for the championship round. Sinish led the offense with 9 kills Stegall added 7 kills and 9 digs L. Peters served up 3 aces Gisslen distributed 25 assists Shippy contributed 4 kills Lauck chipped in 3 kills K. Peters added 5 kills Oskey delivered 5 kills, 8 assists, and 5 digs 🏆 Sectional Final: Carroll Sweeps Snider 3–0 In the championship match, Carroll turned up the intensity against Snider, dominating all three sets with aggressive serving and relentless attacking. Sinish was unstoppable with 13 kills and 5 aces Finefrock anchored the back row with 5 digs Stegall added 5 kills Shippy delivered 8 kills and 3 blocks Lauck contributed 6 kills Oskey matched with 8 kills Gisslen orchestrated the offense with a season-high 38 assists With the sectional title secured, Carroll now sets its sights on the regional championship. The Chargers will face Harrison on Saturday, October 25 at 7 PM, aiming to continue their undefeated season and push deeper into the postseason.
