Carroll Boys Tennes Rolls Through Regional Semi-Finals in Round 1 Victory

Wednesday, October 8, 2025 — Fort Wayne, IN Carroll High School delivered a resilient and well-rounded performance in Round 1 of the regional semi-finals, defeating their opponent 4-1 to move one step closer to a championship berth. Singles Brilliance Andrew Jamison (12) extended his dominant season to 19-3, dismantling his opponent 6-0, 6-3. Tim Croft (11) was untouchable, posting a double-bagel 6-0, 6-0 win. Alex Sznaza (11) showed mental toughness, rebounding from a first-set loss to win 4-6, 6-4, 6-0. Doubles Split Carroll’s top pair Jack Jones (11)/Sam Mettler (11) (18-4) fell to Westview’s undefeated duo Kaden Grau (12)/Luke Stults (11) (20-2), 6-4, 6-4. The second doubles team Alex Holley (11)/Boston Smith (11) responded with authority, winning 6-4, 6-1 to seal the team victory. With the win, Carroll improves to 15-4 and heads into the next round with a Regional Championship on the line against Dekalb High School.
