The Carroll Chargers Boys Tennis team delivered a flawless performance in the sectional semifinals, blanking Leo 5-0 to advance to the championship match. Senior Andrew Jamison set the tone at No. 1 singles with a composed 6-3, 6-3 win over Evan Winters. Tim Croft followed with a dominant 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 2 singles, and Alex Sznaza closed out singles play with a convincing 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 3. In doubles action, Jack Jones and Sam Mettler battled through a tight second set to secure a 6-1, 7-5 win at No. 1 doubles. At No. 2 doubles, Alex Holley and Boston Smith cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 finish, sealing the sweep. Carroll (15-4) now advances to the sectional finals against Churubusco on Thursday, October 2 at 4:15 PM.
