Carroll Girls Basketball Secures Win Over DeKalb

By Randy Stegall | Dec 3, 2025 11:19 AM

The Carroll Chargers earned a hard-fought victory Tuesday night, defeating DeKalb 58–48 to improve their record to 2–5 on the season. Carroll’s dominance on the boards proved decisive, as the Chargers out-rebounded DeKalb 43–23. Two standout performances led the way: Ava Myers poured in 22 points, including six three-pointers, while adding four rebounds. Lily George was equally impressive, finishing with 21 points and 12 rebounds to complete a double-double. Despite a rocky start, Carroll settled in and multiple players contributed to the team’s balanced effort. The Chargers’ energy and rebounding advantage helped them pull away late for the win. Carroll will look to build on this momentum when they travel to face Homestead on Friday, December 5.
