Friday September 25, 2026 Location: Whiting High School Teams: Whiting vs. Calumet Re: Exemplary Report Friday night was one of those nights the crew wishes we could replicate every week. Upon arrival we were met by A.D. Adam Musielak in our reserved parking spots, escorted to our dressing area and provided a run down of the homecoming festivities for the evening. Security to and from the field ensured our safety at all times. We truly appreciate that at any venue we visit. After game hospitality was a surprise and a well needed snack for the ride home. Game Time: From the coaches meeting to the final horn all players and coaches were shining examples of the way a game should be played, and coached. Perfect sideline decorum aloud the crew to work in a safe environment, along with great communications between crew and coaches made for a solid evening on the field. Thank you Players, what can we say, this might have been one of the finest, well played games between two teams as far as sportsmanship and exemplary behavior we have been a part of. Players hitting hard, assisting each other by lending a hand getting off the ground, no words, no extra curricular activities. One was during a fumble recovery from Big number 75 for Whiting we actually witnessed the opposing players congratulating on a fantastic play and recovery return. I'm not sure if it was the full moon but something was in the air that made this evening a pleasure for our crew to officiate with all of the hoopla going on for homecoming. We thank both teams for your efforts in making Friday nights game something special. Its not always about the score that makes a great game, its about the way the game was played and managed.
