Tuesday, the Boys and Girls track teams hosted the River Forrest Ingots and Wheeler Bearcats as the Warriors celebrated senior night and recognized our lone senior, Amanda Adams. The Warriors lost in the final team score tabulations, but did have individual winners. First place finishers were the boys 4 x 400 meter relay team consisting of Reginald Bandy, Carson Triplett, Trevon Farmer, and Zayshaun Sprouse. Zayshaun also won the 100-meter and 400-meter dashes. Trevon was the winner of the high jump. On the girls’ side, the ladies' 4 x400 meter relay team, consisting of Arianna Mills, Amanda Adams, Symphony Walton, and Janiyah Bowie won the race and drastically improved their season's fastest time. There were many improved times with the Warriors accomplishing season-best and personal best times and distances throughout the night! The Warriors return to action tonight as they head to Highland High School to compete in the Highland Invitational. Tonight’s meet begins at 5 pm.
