Last week, on Wednesday, the Boys and Girls track teams opened up their outdoor seasons against Bishop Noll and Griffith. Many first-time competitors set hard-fought benchmarks to continue to pursue each meet for the remainder of the season. First place finishers were Treyvon Farmer in the High Jump with a personal best clearing of six feet. Zayshaun Sprouse was the night’s winner in the 400-meter dash with a time of 53.44 seconds. Tuesday this week, the teams traveled to St. John to compete against Illiana Christian and Gary West Side. Event winners on the night were Treyvon Farmer in the High Jump, Symphony Walton in the high jump with a personal best clearing of 4 feet 8 inches, and Zayshaun Sprouse again in the 400-meter dash. The Warriors will head to Wheeler this Saturday to compete in the Bearcat Invitational at 10 am. Good Luck Warriors!
