Caledonia High School Athletics

On Tuesday night, the girls soccer team beat the Grandville Bulldogs 6-0. Senior Gracie Gortmaker had a hat trick. Jocelyn Herrema had two goals, Maddie Maas also had a goal. Junior Davanee Balczak had her third shutout of the season. On Thursday night the Fighting Scots had their senior night as they welcomed the East Kentwood Falcons. The girls picked up their second win in conference as they shutout a very good East Kentwood team 6-0. Jocelyn Herrema recorded her second four goal game of the season. Gracie Gortmaker and Josie Wilcox also had a goal each. This morning Caledonia hosted Portage Northern for a non conference battle at Scotland Yard. The Fighting Scots picked up their third win of the week as they defeated the Huskies 6-1. Baylee DeVries lead the Scots with four goals. Gracie Gortmaker also had two. Next week the girls will continue their home stand as they host Grand Haven and Jenison.
