Offense Was on Display Tuesday Night Boys Lacrosse Rolls to a 24-1 Win

Boys lacrosse put on an offensive display on Friday night as they demolished Kalamazoo Central 24-1. The Scots got the scoring just a minute and nine seconds in with an unassisted goal from Carson Beyer. Cal added another just 43 seconds later as junior Jackson Kozack ripped a shot in the top left corner off a pass from fellow junior Jack VanEss. A couple minutes later Beyer got his second of the game off of a pass from Nolan Mathieu. Jackson VanEss got on the score sheet for the first time at the 8:19 mark off of a Beyer assist. The Fighting Scots totaled 12 goals in the first quarter and took a 12-0 lead into the second. The second quarter was more of the same as VanEss, Mathieu, Conner Beach, Brady Hilaski, Alex Kilminsmith, Reed Vogler and Max Bellgardt all scored to give Caledonia a 19-0 at the break. The second half was more of the same as the first half. Kalamazoo Central was able to score a goal at the 2:27 mark of the fourth quarter but Caledonia was way too overpowering.
