Girls Soccer Extends Their Win Streak To Two as They Defeat Cedar Springs 4-1

The Caledonia girls soccer team extended their win streak to two last night as they defeated Cedar Springs 4-1. The girls got the offense going early as Senior Jocelyn Herrema scored a goal just .five minutes in off of a Laney Peterson assist. Senior Gracie Gortmaker added one more before the break to increase the Scots lead to two at the end of half number one. The second half was more of the same as Jocelyn Herrema added two more to the score sheet off of Kendall Maynard assist and an unassisted goal. Cedar Springs was able to score a late goal but the Scots held on with a final of 4-1. The JV team also won. The girls will be back in action tonight as they as they host Byron Center.
