On the boys side the Fighting Scots kicked off the season with a victory over the Byron Center Bulldogs at home last tonight by a score of 84-53. There were many great performances in the evening and many of the Fighting Scots had personal best performances. 1st place finishers: Dharius Walker - 100 meters Sheldon Thomas - 400 meters Ayden Duffin - 800 meters Jordan Domany - 1600/3200 meters Owen Hager - 110H/300H Jordan Gutierrez - High Jump/Long Jump 4x100 Relay - (Dharius Walker, Jimmie Floyd, Brock Townsend, Jordan Gutierrez) 4x800 Relay (Jonathan Miedema, Micah Nagel, Anthony Lawlor, Ayden Duffin) On the girls side Caledonia Fighting Scots ladies track & field team opened the season on Monday evening in a dual meet versus, Byron Center at home. The ladies battled back and forth with the Bulldogs throughout the evening, but found themselves down 63-60 with only the 3200m run and the 1600m relay left. The ladies won the final two events to secure the win by a score of 71-66!
